Most of the travelers that come or intend to come to  Belarus need a visa. There are different types of visas, but the one that seems to bee the most appropriate in all the cases is tourist visa. To get you tourist visa you have to contact the closest Embassy of Belarus or you can get it at Minsk-2 Airport when you arrive to Belarus. If you do you visa in advance then you can save a bit , but you should consider the case that you have to send the documents and sometimes to apply in person.

One more thing to know about the documents for Belarus visa is that Belarus Tourist Company should make a tourist voucher( visa voucher) for you. Embassy also may require that there is a visa invitation letter done by the same company. In certain cases booking may be asked when you apply at the Embassy. So, to avoid any questions, call the embassy to get the updated requirements or go for Belarus visa support that is done by many companies. It is a paid service but you are to get tourist voucher in any case.  I followed the last option during my preparations.
